We are thrilled to host this year’s conference at the stunning Jardín Botánico Histórico La Concepción (La Concepción Historical Botanical Garden). Created in 1855, it is one of the most beautiful and well-preserved subtropical landscapes in Europe, offering an inspiring natural oasis just outside the city.

Getting There: To make your commute seamless, we have arranged complimentary bus transfers that will take conference attendees directly from Málaga city centre to the botanical gardens and back each day.

By Plane
Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) is an international hub with direct flights connecting to major cities across Europe and beyond. The airport is located just 8 kilometers from the city centre, which you can easily reach in about 15–20 minutes via the C1 commuter train (Cercanías), express bus, or taxi.
By Train
If you are traveling within Spain, the high-speed rail network (AVE) is very efficient.
From Madrid: You can reach Málaga-María Zambrano station directly from Madrid’s Puerta de Atocha station in as little as 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Trains run frequently (up to 20 times a day). We recommend booking your tickets in advance through Renfe or other high-speed operators like Iryo or OUIGO for the best availability.
